The Great Bungee Company opens its highly anticipated bungee site May 16, 2026, following a May 15 press conference and ceremonial first jump.
HARPERS FERRY, WV, UNITED STATES, April 2, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The Great Bungee Company is proud to announce the grand opening of its highly anticipated bungee jumping site, with a press conference and ceremonial first jump official ribbon-cutting ceremony scheduled for May 15th, 2026. Regular jumps will begin May 16th, marking the launch of a new adventure tourism experience in the region.
Built from the ground up, the site represents years of planning, engineering, and collaboration to create a safe, world-class bungee jumping destination designed to welcome both first-time jumpers and seasoned thrill-seekers.
Over 500 people are already in line to jump on the Priority Pass list and will receive exclusive booking access beginning April 9th through April 23rd. General reservations will open to the public on April 24th.
As part of the launch celebrations, The Great Bungee Company will introduce the “Be the First” Campaign, an online charity auction opening April 6th. Proceeds from the campaign will support seven charitable organizations:
• Community Markets Inc.
• The American Humane Society
• Harpers Ferry Park Association
• Experience Learning
• Friends of the Shenandoah River
• Habitat for Humanity of the Eastern Panhandle
• Harpers Ferry Alumni Association
The winning bidder will earn the opportunity to become the very first official jumper at the new site, taking the inaugural leap during the May 15th Press Conference & Grand Opening Ceremony.
The May 15th event will celebrate the completion of the project and the partnerships that made it possible, bringing together community members, local officials, and adventure enthusiasts ahead of the first ceremonial first jumps.
