Grant Writing 101 classes available in August, September

PERU, IL, UNITED STATES, August 14, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Grant Writing 101 classes are available online starting this August and in person in September in Peru, Illinois.

The 1-hour Grant Writing 101 course is open to adults interested to learn about grants.

Open to anyone working in business, nonprofits, government or individuals interested to learn a new skill. Course is geared toward those who live in Illinois but could apply to those in the Midwest and all of the United States.

Alexandria "Ali" Braboy of La Salle, Illinois, has been grant writing for over five years and has written over $32 million in successful grant applications while working for North Central Illinois Council of Governments, Regional Office of Education #35 and the City of Mendota, Illinois.

Wednesday, Aug. 19 at 6-7 p.m.
Saturday, Aug. 22 at 11 a.m.-12 p.m.
Sunday, Aug. 23 at 1-2 p.m.
Wednesday, Aug. 26 at 6-7 p.m.
Saturday, Aug. 29 at 11 a.m.-12 p.m.
Sunday, Aug. 30 at 2-3 p.m.

In-person classes are the following times and days in Peru, Illinois:
Tuesday, Sept. 8 at 5:15-6:15 p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 12 at 10-11 a.m.
Monday, Sept. 21 5:15-6:15 p.m.
Wednesday, Sept. 23 5:15-6:15 p.m.
Monday, Sept. 28 at 5:15-6:15 p.m.
