For Christy, this is not simply a business promotion or an October campaign. It is personal.

Three years ago, Christy lost her beautiful mother to a rare form of cancer. The loss changed her life and made helping people affected by cancer a cause especially near and dear to her heart.

“My mom is a huge part of why I am doing this,” said Ray. “I lost her three years ago to a rare form of cancer, and there isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think about her. Making my mom proud every single day is what keeps me going in life. If I can use the gift and experience I have been given to help another person going through cancer feel beautiful, confident and whole again, I know she would be proud of me.”

Her journey began with extraordinary adversity. Christy shares her story of childhood trauma, growing up surrounded by domestic violence in her home, surviving sexual assault at only seven years old, and then, at age ten, standing by as her family home burned completely to the ground.

Those experiences are part of her story—but they are not the end of it.

Christy went on to build a family, a career and a successful business while devoting herself to an industry that allows her to transform lives through artistry. Today, with 20 years of experience in the Permanent Cosmetics industry, she uses those skills not only to enhance beauty but also to help restore what illness, surgery, trauma and cancer treatments can take away.
