Carroll County Residents Asked to Share Their Health Priorities

Westminster, MD - (October 15, 2026) - Carroll Hospital and the Carroll County Health Department are teaming up with Carroll County Government to promote a community-wide health survey, the results of which will help shape local health programs and services.

The Carroll County Health Department and Carroll Hospital partner every three years on the Community Health Needs Assessment, which helps identify the county's biggest health priorities. This survey is a major component of the assessment, along with focus groups and key community stakeholder interviews.

The survey is quick, anonymous, and includes questions about personal and community health priorities. It is open to Carroll County residents ages 18 and over.

Respondents can enter to win a grocery gift card; answers are not associated with names for those who enter the drawing. The survey is available in both English and Spanish and will remain open through October 30th.

County residents can also get involved in planning and initiatives to improve community health. The Carroll County Health Improvement Coalition is a group of local organizations, agencies, and residents working together to improve health in Carroll County. All are welcome to participate. The next meeting is on Wednesday, October 21, from 8:30 - 10:30 AM at the Health Department and online. Other coalitions addressing specific health needs are also open to the public.
