Helping Local 4-H Ideas Grow: Applications Open for the UFA Funds 4-H Alberta Clubs Program

CALGARY, CANADA, November 4, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The UFA Agricultural Community Foundation (UFA Foundation) has opened applications for the UFA Funds 4-H Alberta program, offering eligible, 4-H Clubs and Districts in good standing the opportunity to each apply for $300 for a locally selected project or initiative.

The program opens on November 4, 2026, Show Your 4-H Colours Day, a celebration of the pride, spirit and positive impact of 4-H. The funding can help Clubs and Districts bring practical learning, youth development and community-building ideas to life.

By supporting local projects and initiatives, we're helping young people learn to do by doing, develop leadership skills and make meaningful contributions in their communities. Applications are open from November 4, 2026, to January 31, 2027, at 11:59 p.m. ABT. Funding is limited, eligibility-based and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Only one application from each eligible Club or District will be considered, and applicants must explain how the funding will be used.

Applicants must use the UFA Funds 4-H Alberta application form. Approved funds will be distributed by March 31, 2027, and should be used to support eligible projects of initiatives before November 1, 2027.
